Evidence gathering,
without the email chain

Ordero is a shared workspace for claim evidence. Loss adjusters, accountants, solicitors and insureds work from a single list of documents.

The Ordero claim workspace: an evidence request list grouped by category, with per-item status and a detail panel for the selected document.
The bottleneck

Claims are evidence-heavy. The tools are still email and spreadsheets.

Evidence is gathered over email, phone calls, Excel and RFIs. Attachments get missed, versions drift, and nobody can see what is outstanding without asking. It hurts most at the two ends of the book: high volume, low complexity files where the admin per claim is the whole cost, and litigated files where every document has to be traceable years later.

~30%

of director time at a forensic accounting practice goes on administration rather than analysis.

Three things that take the admin off the claim

01

Custom request templates

Build the document request flow once per claim type, then reuse it. Categories, items and wording stay consistent across the team instead of being retyped into every email.

02

Insured portal

The insured, broker or solicitor sees only what they need to supply, grouped and stated plainly. They upload against the exact item asked for, with no logins to chase.

03

Audit trail of activity

Every request, upload, comment and decision is timestamped against the claim, searchable across the whole team. Delays and invoiced time can be evidenced rather than argued, years later if needed.

How it works

Introduced inside a claim you are already running

01

Open the claim workspace

The claim owner sets up the file and the requested-document list from a reusable template. No IT project, no procurement.

02

Invite the adjuster and the insured

The insured, broker or instructed solicitor gets a simple portal listing what is needed. Everyone else gets visibility of progress without collecting anything themselves.

03

Work the list until it closes

Documents are reviewed, queried or accepted in place. The audit trail builds itself, so the file closes sooner and stands up later.
